A Greek C-130 (military transport) aircraft will travel to China on Sunday to load the essential medical supplies that the country is providing, in order to assist Cyprus’ battle against the coronavirus.
According to the Cyprus News Agency, a portion of the medical supplies that were requested from China by the Cyprus Health Ministry will be loaded on the aircraft that will carry the gear to Greece, before they are transferred over to the island.
Last week the Ambassador of China in Nicosia, Huang Xingyuan, announced on Twitter that the first batch of medical supplies, including 10,000 FFP2 masks, were dispatched.
