“There’s nothing more special than a Greek Easter,” Geoffrey Pyatt, the US ambassador to Greece, posted on Twitter.
Along with his tweet, he published photos of the places he visited in previous years during Easter.
“Last year, I was in Corfu, where I narrowly escaped the falling of μπότηδες (pots)."
The year before, I was in #Crete, with its amazing flavors and the solemn #Epitaphios of Panagia Trimartiri. This year at home but happy to be in Greece with its warm, generous & talented people. Καλή Ανάσταση και καλό Πάσχα! #Μεγαλη_Παρασκευη #FridayPhoto #menoume_spiti pic.twitter.com/zKI3BOsQre
