Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner donate Greek food to frontline hospital workers in LA

By 4 years ago

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner did their bit to help hospital employees by donating 100 meals from Aliki’s Greek Taverna to East LA Doctors Hospital.

The Jonas Brothers singer and his Game of Thrones star wife, made their donation through 'Fueling The Fearless', an organisation which hires local restaurants in financial difficulty as a result of the pandemic to provide meals to frontline healthcare workers.

The meals went directly to doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who don't always have time to make their own meals as they care for coronavirus patients.

'A BIG THANK YOU to @joejonas @sophiet @philymack @shondamcintyre for donating 100 meals to East LA Doctors Hospital. This hospital is in the heart of downtown LA and serves a vastly underprivileged community with limited resources and support. The staff work tirelessly to care for the community and those often forgotten... One hot meal let’s them know we are all in this together,' the post read.
