Sixteen sports personalities and sixteen popular music artists joined forces for "Μουσικές Αγάπης" (Love Music), a challenge by 24Media to raise money for Greece's healthcare system.
In the musical challenge ''The Unplugged Concert', 16 artists accepted the challenge to perform unplugged after a personal invitation from sports personalities who were asked the simple question "who is your favourite singer?"
The answers were given, the 'orders' were made and the couples were created. Some of the duos included:
- Georgios Afroudakis (waterpolo player)/ Giorgos Sabanis
- Maria Sakkari (tennis player)/ Anna Vissi
- Vassilis Spanoulis (basketballer)/ Antonis Remos
- Stefanos Tsitsipas (tennis player)/ Stavento
- Kostas Fortounis (footballer)/ Konstantinos Argiros
- Fani Chalkia (hurdler)/ Elli Kokkinou
The purpose of this online event was to encourage donations to the special bank account opened by The Bank of Greece under the instruction of the Ministry of Finance, to raise money for coronavirus relief efforts.
