Another 36 migrants reach Lesvos

A boat with 36 migrants arrived on Sunday at Tsonia beach in northeastern Lesvos.

According to sources, the passengers are of African and Afghan origin.

They remained at the port until they were tested by an EODY team. Then they will move to Megala Therma in northern Lesvos, in order to be placed in a 14-day quarantine.

Earlier this month, the first boat carrying migrants and refugees since April 1st, arrived on the island of Lesvos.

Since then, another boat with 19 passengers arrived on May 17th.
