Due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, the upcoming Red Hot Chilli Peppers concert at Markopoulo Park in Athens has been rescheduled to June 26, 2021.
Last year, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers announced they were headlining the Ejekt Festival in Athens on June 5. At that time, the organisers of the festival revealed that it was going to be the sell-out concert for the summer of 2020.
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers have released 11 albums since 1984 and to date, their sales have exceeded 80 million dollars worldwide.
The famous four-piece band is known for its edgy music style, which primarily consists of rock with an emphasis on funk, as well as elements from other genres such as punk rock and psychedelic rock.
The band’s first and only appearance in Greece was in Athens in 2012, and now Greek fans will have to wait an extra year to see the group perform on stage again.
Information on pre-sold tickets will be announced in the coming days. In the meantime, pre-sale continues normally for those who wish to secure their ticket to Athens’ most anticipated musical event for 2021!
