Vending machines in Heraklion sell face masks

People looking for a face mask in Heraklion, Crete can now buy them from a vending machine.

During the lockdown, local authorities in Heraklion decided to install the special vending machines at various bus stops.

The price for a face mask is set at €2.

With the easing of coronavirus lockdown restrictions, the Greek government made it mandatory for citizens to wear a face mask while in enclosed spaces or taking public transportation. Failure to comply with this measure will result in a €150 fine.
