Ellinair has announced that it will gradually resume domestic flights to/from Athens, Thessaloniki and Crete, as of June.

The airline will restart its Athens – Thessaloniki – Athens route on June 22, and the Thessaloniki – Heraklion – Thessaloniki route on June 28.

Mr. Stavros Daliakas, Ellinair Commercial Director, commented: “The year started with positive perspective and - despite the severe consequences the pandemic brought to the entire aviation industry since March- we hope that the fact that Greece successfully dealt with the crisis will help us all, so that Summer 2020 will commence a dynamic restart for both Ellinair and the Greek Tourism as a whole."

Ellinair had temporarily suspended its flights in March, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A subsidiary of Mouzenidis Group, last year the Thessaloniki based airline celebrated its fifth anniversary in the aviation industry.
