His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America: “Violence only breeds violence”

Referring to the death of an unarmed man, George Floyd, while in police custody in the US city of Minneapolis, the Archbishop of America Epidophoros described the incident as an “unjust slaying” that “cannot be where America stands.”

The Minneapolis police officer who was seen on video kneeling on the neck of George Floyd, a handcuffed black man who died in custody, has been charged with murder.
