Ryanair launches sale for flights, as cheap as €19.99 to Athens

Ryanair announced on July 1st the resumption of its flights from Athens after a period of forced shutdown due to coronavirus restrictions.

On June 24, the Athens-Rome (Ciampino) flight marked the start of Ryanair's summer program for 2020 in Athens, with the full schedule coming into effect as of yesterday with flights to 30 destinations such as Bologna, Berlin or Charleroi, Air News reported.

Following the lifting of travel restrictions, Europeans can finally plan their summer getaway, with the cheapest prices and safety offered by Ryanair's new healthcare measures to protect crews and its customers as it increases its activity this summer.

To celebrate the resumption of flights from Athens in the summer of 2020, Ryanair has launched sales of only €19.99, single route, for travel in August and September 2020. Bookings must be made with by midnight on Friday, 3 July, exclusively through Ryanair.com.

On behalf of Ryanair, Head of Sales & Marketing, Chiara Ravara stated "Ryanair is happy to announce the resumption of its flights from Athens, after almost 4 months of interruption. Our flight from Athens to Rome/Ciampino was the start of Ryanair's 2020 summer program for Athens, which as of today is available to the public for bookings, including 30 leisure & business destinations throughout Europe."

"To celebrate the new beginning of our summer program from Athens, we launched sales of seats from just €19.99 single route, for travel in August and September 2020, with the reservation completed by midnight on Friday, July 3.
