Usain Bolt reveals his daughter's Greek name

The retired eight-time Olympic gold medalist, Usain Bolt took to social media to introduce his first child to the world.

The greatest sprinter of all time became a father last May.

Bolt and his partner, Kasi J. Bennett, even gave the little one a very Greek name: Olympia. Of course, next to the name, he added the "lightning," which was his nickname when he swept the big races on the track, both in the 100m and the 200m.

To celebrate his partner's birthday, he posted pictures on his Instagram from a photo shoot they did with their daughter, who has beautiful eyes.

"I want to wish my gf a happy birthday and To let u know I am happy I get to spend ur  special day with u. I want nothing but happiness for u and will continue to doing my best keeping a smile on ur face. Now we have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt I look forward to what the future will bring for us but be reassured that I will be the ROCK for this family. I Love you and happy 21th birthday ," Bolt wrote in his message on Instagram.

Olympia means 'Mountain Of The Gods' in Greek. Although Olympia Bolt is the daughter of a famous athlete, perhaps the most famous Olympia was the one born in 375 BC in Epirus - the mother of Alexander the Great.

Usain Bolt is an eight-time Olympic gold medallist, winning the Olympic 100 m and 200 m titles at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics - the only person to do this at three consecutive Olympic Games. He also won two 4 × 100 relay gold medals.
