Greece lifts the mandatory face mask rule at shopping malls

By 4 years ago

Greece further eased restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

According to a joint ministerial decision, the use of protective masks by customers inside shopping malls will no longer be mandatory. However, staff will still be obliged to wear a mask.

Previous rules allowing no more than six customers per table at bars and restaurants, have also been withdrawn.

The decision was published in the government gazette on Wednesday.

The lifting of these restrictions is valid until July 12.

Do be reminded that it is mandatory to wear a face mask while using public transport.
