Hotel Grande Bretagne reopens following Covid-19 closure

Hotel Grande Bretagne will be reopening on July 15 with a set of new health and safety measures.

The iconic Syntagma Square hotel has been closed for four months due to the pandemic.

Hotel Grande Bretagne "has been a point of reference for over a century for Greek and foreigners alike," said Tasos Homenidis, CEO at owner Lampsa SA, adding that it is ready to "receive guests with a sense of responsibility, giving them and exceptional and authentic accommodation experiences."

General Manager Tim Ananiadis said the hotel is implementing ‘strict protocols’ of its own, along with government health guidelines.

Located right in the heart of the city since 1874, the multi-awarded landmark hotel is within walking distance of exclusive shopping areas, museums and the business district.
