Greece reported 58 new coronavirus cases in the latest 24-hour reporting period, of which 34 are from incoming travellers.

Developing news- the first case has been reported in Paros. According to reports, she is a local on the island.
This raises the total number of cases to 3,883, of whom 54.7% are men.
Of these, 1,042 are related to travel abroad, 2,019 to a known case and the rest are of indeterminate cause.
As the number of cases continue to rise in Greece, the government is examining intensifying localised lockdowns and making masks compulsory in all indoor public spaces.
“We all knew – ourselves and our scientists and experts – that the opening of the borders would bring a partial rise in cases. On the other hand, everyone understands that with public health, medical protocols and respect for human life coming first, the economy and tourism also have to survive,” Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias said on Tuesday.
"We must learn to live with the virus. And I want to say something optimistic in this unprecedented difficulty of a pandemic we live in. To make us all think about it and adjust our behaviour accordingly. Our scientists say at the end of 2020, early 2021 we will have the first vaccines. Indeed, I see that the world scientific community is moving in that direction," he added.
The number of fatalities currently stands at 193.
The median age of the deceased was 76 years, and most had underlying issues.
“It all depends on us, on our individual behaviour, on public health regulations and how we deal with any given situation,” Kikilias concluded.
