The Greek island of Kefalonia was jolted by a 4.4 magnitude earthquake early on Saturday morning.
According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the quake occurred at 4.38 a.m. at sea, with its epicenter located 17 kilometers southwest of the island capital of Argostoli.
It had a depth of 8.6 kilometers.
No damage was reported.
