In an article entitled “Why Greece could be the best holiday ticket now”, CNN refers to holidays in Greece during the coronavirus pandemic.

For the journalist Barry Neild, coronavirus has not affected the holiday dream in Greece.

“Greece has worked hard to adapt its tourism offering in an age of infection. For the time being at least, this seems to be paying off, even as a second wave of infections threatens other European destinations,” he writes.

“The beautiful empty beaches, crystal clear seas and waterfront tavernas are all still serving up the 100% authentic Greek relaxation needed to cure those lockdown blues,” Neild continues.

He also refers to the travel restrictions that still apply in Greece, as well as the paperwork that must be completed before departure.
