The new covid-19 measures won't stop Nikos Vertis from performing in Thessaloniki

'ORAMA The music show' in Thessaloniki has found a solution to the new coronavirus measures.

On Monday, the Greek government announced a series of new emergency measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The new rules include food or catering sector-related shops (restaurants, bars, bouzoukia etc.) shutting between midnight and 7am in several regions including Thessaloniki.

It is also recalled the government extended a ban on standing customers in all bars, clubs, live music venues, bar-restaurants and cafe-bars until August 31.

Nikos Vertis, one of Greece’s most popular performers, is currently performing every Friday and Saturday night at 'ORAMA The Music Show', Thessaloniki.

With respect to the new measures, 'ORAMA The Music Show' announced that for the performances on the 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd of August, the doors will open at 7:30pm.

"It is worth noting that on Saturday, August 8, the centre was thoroughly inspected by the authorities and was rewarded for its formality! The distances observed were much longer than the protection measures provided, thus showing the seriousness with which the company is dealing with the situation," the announcement added.

"We are not afraid, we are PROTECTED, we can continue to live our daily lives, but keeping in mind the basic protection measures," it concluded.

Nikos Vertis' appearances at 'ORAMA The Music Show'  started on August 7 and are scheduled for every Friday and Saturday. For reservations, please call +30 210 3453139.
