Greece beat Moldova 2-0 in Sunday’s UEFA Nations League match.

It is recalled last month, head coach of the Greek National Football Team (Εθνική Ομάδα ποδοσφαίρου), John van ‘t Schip, selected his squad.

Tasos Bakasetas opened the score in the first-half injury time from the penalty spot, after Moldovan footballer Veaceslav Posmac was sent off for bringing opponent Vangelis Pavlidis down.

Then five minutes into the second half Petros Mantalos scored Greece’s second from a great long ball by Bakasetas.

With this victory, Greece remains at the top of League C Group 3 (with 7 points) together with Slovenia.

The next game will be in a few days (14/10/2020) against Kosovo.
