Kostas Antetokounmpo is the first member in his family to win an NBA championship.
The 22-year-old was a second-round draft pick in 2018 and was claimed by the Los Angeles Lakers off waivers last year. He played in five games this season while on a two-way contract.
On Sunday night, the Lakers beat the Miami Heat 106-93, to win the NBA Finals in six games.
And during the Lakers’ celebration, Antetokounmpo was spotted holding the Greek flag.
Last week it was announced that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers, Thanasis and Kostas, will be added to the “Madden NFL 21” video game.
