Hop on board the Greek capital's first electric bus. On Wednesday, the new road vehicle completed a short route inside the centre of Athens, carrying many passengers.
Those using this new form of transportation currently do not need a ticket.
The vehicle which was produced by Chinese car manufacturer YUTONG, has been tested on the roads for two months.
This demo bus is low, with no steps. It is 12 metres long, has 3 double doors, and a ramp.
The electric bus can fit 27 seated and 46 standing. Due to the pandemic, floor markings have been placed to encourage passengers to adhere to social distancing measures.
The passenger vehicle also has a 350kW engine, with 1200Nm of torque, an incline assist system HSA, front collision avoidance cameras and a lane change warning system.
Not to mention, there are also USB charging ports for passengers.
