The captain of the Maersk Launceston cargo ship that collided with the Greek minesweeping Kallisto was not arrested as reported earlier.
The departure of the Maersk Launceston is prohibited.
The Maersk Launceston, a large Portuguese-flagged ship - 266 meters long and 36 meters wide - was destined for Dardanellia (Δαρδανέλλια, Turkish: Çanakkale), Turkey.
Two members of the minesweeping ship's crew were slightly injured in the collision and were taken to the Athens Naval Hospital. The minesweeper is being towed to the Salamis port for repairs.
It is not known yet who the captain of the Maersk Launceston is other than that he is Polish.
