Although Erdoğan calls for boycott of French products, his wife poses with a Hermès bag

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has called on Turks to boycott French products in response to France's tough crackdown on radical Islam in the aftermath of the beheading of Samuel Paty.

Paty, a teacher, showed images in his class of the founder of Islam, Muhammad.

Images of Muhammad are forbidden in Islam.

Since the beheading committed by Chechen 18-year-old Abdoulakh Anzorov, French President Emmanuel Macron has started a crackdown on Muslim Brotherhood networks across his country, who are funded and backed by Turkey and Qatar.

This has enraged Erdoğan who is now calling on the entire Muslim world to boycott French products.

However, somebody forgot to tell his wife Emine Erdoğan.

Erdoğan's wife was photographed with a $50,000 Hermès bag, a luxury French brand.

Today, the Turkish lira has reached its lowest value to the dollar. As of publication, One U.S. Dollar buys 8.18 Turkish lira.

With an economic crisis looming, the Turkish President is attempting to once again distract the public.
