Stelios Kerasidis is a gifted and talented 8-year-old pianist, who has already won many awards and played at some of the largest musical halls in Greece and Europe.

Now, he has made more history, becoming the youngest Greek student to study at the famous music academy Schola Cantorum de Paris.

The private conservatory which was founded in 1894, boasts a long list of notable alumni, including Magnard, Roussel, Déodat de Séverac, and Pierre de Bréville.

Earlier this year, Kerasidis penned an ‘Isolation Waltz’, taking inspiration from the difficult days global citizens are going through due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The work was written especially “for people who suffer and those who isolate because of Covid-19,” Stelios said.
