A human trafficker and an illegal immigrant were arrested on Sunday in northern Greece between the cities of Kavala and Komotini, Evros24 reported.
At noon in the Xanthi Prefecture of Thrace in northern Greece, a human trafficker was arrested by the Abdera Police Department.
In particular, the police arrested the perpetrator, because they located him driving a car and transporting an illegal immigrant.
The perpetrator also did not have a driving license and the vehicle was confiscated.
The arrested person will be taken to the Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Xanthi, while the pre-investigation is being carried out by the Xanthi Border Guard Department.
