
At least four Turkish fisherman have died after their boat collided with a Greek-flagged tanker on Wednesday.
According to the Coast Guard, the incident between the Polatbey fishing boat and the freighter Ephesus occurred at dawn, 15 nautical miles off the southeastern Turkish city of Karatas in Adana province.

A search-and-rescue operation involving three coast guard boats and a team of divers was launched shortly after communications with the boat was lost.
The coast guards later recovered four bodies. The search for a fifth person is still ongoing.
