His message

The head of the press office of the Archdiocese of Athens announced that the Archbishop was informed yesterday about the results of the test that had been submitted on Monday.

This morning, and for purely precautionary reasons, it was decided to transfer him to Evangelismos Hospital.

As he stressed, the Archbishop was very careful from the first moment of the pandemic.

He had undergone examinations after the meetings of the Permanent Holy Synod, but also before the meeting he had with the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis a few days ago.

He also conveyed the message of the Archbishop who asked everyone to be careful and respectfully observe all measures and rules, because we must protect man, his health and his life.

“I personally participate as a shepherd in the ordeal that concerns thousands of our brothers in our country and millions throughout the Universe," the Archbishop said.

"I share in the agony and pain and fear of all, that with our Faith in God we will all overcome," he added.
