Lysicrates Prize 2020 online voting closes soon. Have your say and win $1K.

For the first time the Lysicrates Play Competition is online and your vote counts.

A competition that showcases some of Australia’s most exciting playwriting talent, The Lysicrates Prize is based on the ancient Athenian model created as part of the Great Dionysia Festival.

Tens of thousands of spectators would flock to the huge open air Theatre of Dionysus, beneath the Acropolis, for a drama competition where the audience would decide on the winner.

When you vote for your favourite play, your name automatically goes into the draw to win $1,000.

The winning playwright of the online voting competition will be announced on 14th December 2020 at Parliament House. They will receive $5K.
