AEK urges its fans and players to adopt stray dogs

AEK, together with the Municipality of New Philadelphia - Nea Chalkidona and Philozoiki, asks its fans and players to take part in the initiative to adopt stray dogs.

The sports club is collaborating with the Municipality of New Philadelphia-New Chalkidona and the Animal Welfare Association of New Philadelphia.

"Counting down to returning to our home, PAE AEK comes forward to find their own home and the stray dogs of our city!", AEK stated in a post on Facebook.

"We invite our teammates to adopt and give a warm home to stray dogs, which have long been housed in facilities within New Philadelphia", the post said.

"Your best friend is waiting for you in New Philadelphia, waiting for you. Now, you can change his life!", the post continued.

"Together we take the big step to give care and warmth to our four-legged friends", the statement added.

In fact, those who are interested in adoption can contact the representative of the Municipality of New Philadelphia, the Committee for the Management of Stray Pets, or the representative of the Animal Welfare Association in the same Committee.

"Together we take the big step to give care and warmth to our four-legged friends, but also to show, once again, our practical interest in the New Philadelphia Grove," the post concludes.
