Each year, UNICEF awards the “Photo of the Year Award” to the photograph that in its opinion best captures the personality and living conditions of children around the world.
For 2020, the award was given to AFP’s Greek photographer Angelos Tzortzinis, who captured the moment when refugee children from the Moria camp are running to save themselves from the fire that broke out last September.
