The COVID-19 pandemic has cast a pall over the festive season, leaving thousands of chairs empty at the family table.
However, Dimitris and Tassoula Kletsas found an original way to "bring" their children to the Christmas table at their home in Larissa, in central Greece.
Dimitris Kletsas who is an amateur painter, felt that by creating a portrait of each of his sons and their wives, would help him and his wife 'feel their physical presence'.
"When you are creative, you even overcome the lockdowns! .. Thanks to the talent of Dimitris Kletsas, we are all together at the Christmas table! Even so! And Tassoula with us who does not have Facebook to tag her! Well done Mitsos! You have proved that nothing can keep parents "away" from their children! Next year up close!" the son posted on Facebook.
