The first Greek child of 2021 was born in Crete

A healthy baby boy is the first Greek child born in 2021.

Just 14 minutes after midnight at the “Mother” Maternity Hospital in the Cretan city of Heraklion, the healthy baby boy was born, weighing 3,540 grams.

Two hours after the arrival of the new year, another Cretan baby boy was born in a private clinic in Chania.

This baby weighed 3,660 grams.

At around 4 in the morning, two more boys were born, one at the Venizelio hospital (weighing 4,120 grams) and the second at the Asclepieion (weighing 3,180 grams).
