Yesterday, in his New Year's message, the Prime Minister stressed that in 2021 "it is up to us to become the year of the Greeks", emphasizing that the coronavirus vaccine is our shield for a new year with health.
“The vaccine against COVID-19 is the New Year's gift of 2021, and our gift in return should be to accept it fully, as self-protection and solidarity toward our dear ones,” he said.
Mitsotakis said in his address. "And our ransom will be its universal acceptance because it means self-protection but also solidarity with our loved ones."
Mitsotakis also urged the public to get vaccinated as soon as the doses become available to them.
