Government cabinet reshuffle includes Greece's first openly gay minister

The newly-appointed government spokesperson Christos Tarantilis announced the new composition of the government following a cabinet reshuffle at noon on Monday, in a press conference at the General Secretariat for Information and Communication.

The new ministers will be sworn in on Tuesday.

The new composition of the government is as follows:

It is worth noting that Nicholas Yatromanolakis has become the first openly gay minister in Greece after assuming the position of Deputy Minister of Culture.

In addition, female representation has been increased with the new women Ministers (Syreggela, Makri, Voultepsi).
