A group of illegal immigrants, including small children, was transported by bus to the Thebes Refugee Accommodation Center last Tuesday, Radio Thiva reported.

When they arrived at the center in Thebes, the illegal immigrants refused to enter, asking to be transferred to a luxury hotel.

Previously they were staying in a five-star hotel in Nea Makri, from where they came from.

Police moved the refugees from the structure to an area near the police station, as the bus driver had to leave, until a solution was found.

In the afternoon, due to the cold, the illegal immigrants lit a makeshift fire with the result that the police intervened.

Then the illegal migrants, with their children crying because of the cold, were forced to accept their transfer to the migrant center.
