Greece swears in new cabinet

The Greek government’s new cabinet was sworn in on Tuesday in three stages, to comply with the national lockdown restrictions.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the cabinet reshuffle on Monday.

In groups of six, the ministers were sworn in, all wearing masks, and after undergoing rapid covid-19 tests.

Hand sanitizer was placed adjacent to the pen where ministers signed their oaths or affirmations.

In attendance was Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece and the President of the Hellenic Republic.

Following the cabinet reshuffle, the new composition of the government is as follows:
