Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that daily vaccinations will increase from 5,000 per day to 8,000.
"The daily possibility of vaccination will increase from 5,000 per day to approximately 8,000," he said today.
"On 4/1 another 51 hospitals entered the program successfully and without problems, today another 55 hospitals are added and on 11/1 the last 19 hospitals in Greece will be added," he stressed.
"We invest, as I said, in transparency and accountability and in the emvolio.gov.gr platform, the vaccinations that have been carried out in the whole territory and in each regional unit of the country are posted daily just before 18:00," the PM explained.
As Mitsotakis noted, "Daily vaccinations will increase from 5,000 daily to approximately 8,000, methodically, safely, transparently and most importantly without errors to date."
"From the outset, we agreed that the principles of our design are threefold: safety in the development of vaccination structures and procedures, full transparency and accountability of vaccinations and priority groups, and then speed."
