Greece helps boost North Macedonia's military through cooperation program under NATO structures

On Tuesday and Wednesday, a delegation of Greece's General Staff of the Armed Forces visited North Macedonia to strengthen military cooperation, within the framework of the already implemented Military Cooperation Program (PSC) of the two countries.

Issues of integrating North Macedonia's Armed Forces into the structures of NATO, education and training of executives in Greek Military Institutions (Military Schools, Exercises and Application Schools) were discussed.

It was also discussed the maintenance and further upgrading of the cooperation in matters of Special Operations by carrying out joint actions in facilities of both countries.

Finally, details were analyzed for the cooperation on issues of Cyberspace, Military Medicine and Logistics.

The Head of the Hellenic Delegation, Brigadier General Nikolaos Triantafyllou, had brief meetings with the Deputy Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Azim Nuredin, and with the Minister of Defense, Radmila Šekerinska.
