Starlings Entertainment has announced that two high profile series projects are in advanced stages of development, including a new 'Alexander the Great' series.
The 'Alexander the Great' series, to be filmed in Greece, will follow the life of the most distinguished Greek warrior who is revered as one of the most powerful and influential leaders of the ancient world.
The series will be co-produced with Greece’s Antenna Group and is also expected to explore the proliferation of Greek culture during Alexander’s reign.
'Alexander the Great' is a collaboration between Ben Silverman and Propagate, whose pilot is being written by Vikings and The Tudors creator Michael Hirst. Greek companies G5 and ZDF Enterprises will also be involved in the shooting of the historical series.
Starlings Entertainment, a film financing and production company which has expanded into a TV division, is a media group launched in 2017 by Mediabiz and DMH Holdings.
