Nick Giannopoulos has taken to Facebook to announce the death of his father, Leonidas Giannopoulos.
He passed away last Tuesday after a short illness.
"He was my hero & mentor & will forever remain the inspiration behind everything I do," the Greek Australian comedian wrote.
He finished: "Dad was a hard working, good hearted & kind man who loved his family and friends & in return was loved by all who knew him."
On behalf of the GCT family, we send our deepest condolences to Nick and his family. May his memory be forever eternal. Ζωή σε σας.
