Forbes unveiled its “30 Under 30” list recently, with several Greek American individuals named in three categories – Hollywood & Entertainment, Media, and Manufacturing & Industry.
The 10th Annual Forbes “30 Under 30” list featured 600 young entrepreneurs, activists, scientists and entertainers.
Hollywood & Entertainment- Michael Apostolos, 25, Founder of Fourline Creative
Chicago native Apostolos got his start in the industry at the age of 16.
The creative director and lighting designer has since worked with Jennifer Hudson, Billie Eilish and Chance the Rapper, as well as for award shows like the Grammys, BET Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
In January, he founded Fourline Creative, which has designed sets for “SNL,” “The Late Late Show with James Cordon” and “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”
Media- Joanie Vasiliadis, 29, Vice President for Digital Content at Tegna
Joanie Vasiliadis, vice president for digital content at Tegna, encourages local television news stations to make their websites into places for impactful, original content.
Vasiliadis, who works with 50 newsrooms, pushed for company-wide misinformation training, built Tegna’s national desk and brought its fact-checking franchise Verify to Snapchat.
Manufacturing & Industry- Athanasios Karachotzitis, 26, co-founder of Authenticiti
Andrew Yang, Jeong Woo Park, and Athanasios Karachotzitis founded Authenticiti, a supply chain data platform powered by blockchain, in 2016.
They’ve raised $2.1 million to centralize the siloed enterprise systems of modern supply chains and aggregate data to one source.
A pilot project aggregated order-to-cash data between GE Aviation’s and Lockheed Martin’s siloed systems to provide real-time shared visibility into the shipment of gaskets.
Revenue is expected to reach $2.6 million in 2020.
