The local community of Thebes is mourning the death of a 16-year-old after she dies in the city hospital from a COVID-19 attributed death.
She is the youngest person in Greece to die from COVID-19 and had other underlying diseases.
The unfortunate girl was admitted this morning to the hospital in Thebes while the mother is being treated by intubation at the Evangelismos hospital.
As stated by the mayor of Thebes, "the 16-year-old was admitted this morning to the hospital of Thebes with symptoms of the virus.
"Unfortunately, we were informed of the unpleasant event and I appeal to the citizens for great care and strict observance of the measures."
