The General Secretariat for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Development and Investment of Greece has announced a competitive public international tender for a project in Athens.
The purpose of the tender is to select a Private Partnership Body to implement the project “Creation of an Innovation Centre in Athens with the partnership of Public and Private sector PPP”.
The General Secretariat for Research and Technology invites any interested parties to submit an Expression of Interest File (Phase A of the tender).
The financing of the Project will be done exclusively with own and/or loan funds of the successful candidate.
The most economically advantageous tender will be awarded the contract of the Partnership Agreement.
The successful Private Partnership Body (IFS) will implement the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the building facilities of the Innovation Centre, within the framework of the proposed Public-Private Partnership.
Furthermore it will undertake the provision of support and promotion services for the Innovation and commercial exploitation of these facilities.
The purpose of the Project is the creation of an Innovation Centre in Athens, to the standards that have already been successfully adopted in many international business centres.
The Innovation Centre will be a pillar of development for the ecosystem of Athens and the wider region.
The expiration date for the submission of the participation dossier by the interested companies is March 15th. (13:00 Greek time).
