Two women are among a new batch of young pilots to have graduated from Kalamata Air Base.

On Monday, a ceremony marked the end of a flight training program for pilot officers at the Kalamata Air Base.

The ceremony was in the presence of the Chief of the Air Force General Staff (GEA), Marshal (I) George Blioumi.

It should be noted that the Air Force already has women in its ranks, for many years.

Female pilots fly the F-4 and Mirage 2000 fighters.

At the same time, female pilots fly the Super Puma and C-27-J helicopters .
