The barrier of 500,000 COVID-19 vaccinations in Greece was broken today, one day ahead of schedule.
The Minister of Health, Vassilis Kikilias, stated yesterday when leaving the General Hospital "G. Gennimatas" in Thessaloniki, "by this Saturday, 500,000 vaccinations will have been carried out in the country."
However, the goal was achieved a day earlier.
The government's strategy is now to ensure a second dose for all those who are already vaccinated.
