Greek Defence Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos answered a question submitted to the Parliament by Hellenic Solution president, Kyriakos Velopoulos, on the subject of Greek soldiers receiving orders in Albanian.
Velopoulos referred to a video dated to January 15, entitled “Albanians give orders to Greek soldiers.”
The video shows two young men, one wearing a camouflage suit and the other dressed in black, wearing berets and speaking fluent Albanian on camera.
Then one of the two turns to a group of soldiers and give orders in Albanian.
“A Sworn Administrative Examination was conducted for this specific event in order to investigate the conditions under which the video recording took place and its posting on social media. It was completed immediately,” Panagiotopoulos said.
He added that their was misconduct charges and disciplinary penalties for the Albanian pair.
