Theocharis assures the British that those who have not been vaccinated can visit Greece

British tourists who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19 can travel to Greece with a negative test, assured the Minister of Tourism Haris Theocharis.

Theocharis, speaking to the British network ITV News about the COVID-19 vaccinations, stressed that they are expected to play a key role in managing the pandemic.

The minister said "All Britons, whether they have had a coronavirus vaccine or not, will have the opportunity to travel to Greece for their summer holidays."

He said Britons who have a vaccine certificate would not need to be quarantined or have a negative PCR test before flying to Greece.

The minister noted that talks are continuing between Greece and Britain regarding the introduction of a vaccination passport which will prove if visitors have received the vaccine.
