Lavrov calls Dendias to discuss bilateral relations

Greek Foreign Minister spoke with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov today on the latter's initiative, the Greek Foreign Ministry said in a tweet.

"Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias had a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov at the latter's initiative," the tweet said.

"Given the particularly important role that Russia played during Greek independence, Foreign Minister's discussed the prospects of Greek-Russian bilateral relations," the statement added.
