A priest in Patras, who until recently mocked those who wore masks and kept their distance, caught COVID-19.

He even made fun of those believers he saw in the church wearing a mask, asking them to explain why they enter the church with it.

A complaint published by Flamis stated:

“The specific priest repeatedly mocked a relative of mine because he was wearing a mask in church. In addition, after the festivities, he preached in the church that coronavirus does not exist and everything is done to hit the church!”

In fact, according to the same complaint, the priest, when he saw the following Sunday that the particular believer was wearing a mask again, said to him:

“You are wearing a mask again, do you not understand that all this is done for globalisation”?
