New passenger disembarkation platform at Piraeus port

The Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) has acquired a new passenger disembarkation platform for emergency circumstances.

The new platform can be used safely on ships of various sizes mooring at the bustling port.

According to the company announcement, the project was carried out under the supervision of an independent inspection and certification body. All the prescribed design and construction standards were observed, aiming at upgrading PPA’s areas of responsibility.

The platform improves the operational capacity of the port to deal with emergencies.
