Bouyiourdi or Bougiourdi is a traditional Greek grilled appetizer of feta cheese baked in the oven, with tomatoes, chilli flakes & peppers sprinkled with olive oil. It’s quite spicy and should be served warm.

2 x 100 gr/ 2 x 3.5 oz/ 2 pieces Greek Feta Cheese (a finger thick)
1 ripe medium size tomato cut in 7-8 round slices
1/2 green pepper (capsicum) in slices
1/2 tsp. Dry Oregano
1/4-1/2 tsp. chilli flakes, depending on how spicy you eat it (Boukovo / Chilli Flakes in Greek)
A bit Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and ground Pepper
Traditionally: 2 small Clay pots (or other small trays)
